First Public Meeting of AIMI
The international medical insurance market represents the biggest growth sector in the health insurance market and with many companies reporting a reduction in revenue this is a lucrative market to explore.
The AIMI (The Association of International Medical Insurance Providers) represents international private health insurance providers and it had its first public meeting in November when it also launched its new website. AIMI was established in 2007 and its members now represent over 80 per cent of the international providers of medical insurance policies from the United Kingdom and Eire.
AIMIP exists to assist intermediaries, brokers and financial advisors
better understand the nature of the international and expatriate medical
insurance industry and to act as a central body to promote and maintain the
highest level of professional ethics and standards.
Members of AIMIP include: ALC Global Health Insurance, BUPA, Goodhealth and IMG.
