Newspaper Bosses Use Private Health Insurance
An interesting article published in the New Statesman on Thursday asked top UK news bosses if they used private medical insurance or the NHS. Out of the ten people only one, John Ryley from Sky News, said that they did not use any private health insurance. Other than that all those asked said that they used a combination of NHS and health insurance. Many mentioned that they were part of their company medical cover scheme.

Said, I have used and use both the NHS and – as a member of the company’s health insurance scheme – private medicine. I am inordinately grateful to both sectors.'
